Phuket's Secret Beaches Photos and Information

Phuket Art: Photo Galleries - South Thailand Images & Maps

On an island, secrets are never kept for long... but still, some of the smaller beaches displayed on this page are pretty difficult to find and immensely rewarding once you get there. Introducing… a map for each of Phuket's secret beaches.

Banana Rock Beach

Banana Rock Beach

Banana Rock Beach is not easy to find, but its beauty and tranquility are worth the drive... It is located on the coastal road between Naithon and Layan beaches. Only a small blue sign nailed on a tree indicates the place. Park your car, then walk down a short path on a steep hill through the trees to reach the beach.

Siam Beach

Siam Beach

A proper road has been built down to Siam Beach in the last few years and it allows easier access. The road starts from just under the Kata ‘Three Beaches’ view point, and goes down under the cliff. The entrance is where the road becomes a path.

Paradise Beach

Paradise Beach

Is Paradise Beach still a 'secret' beach? Even though it’s getting more and more popular, the drive there is still a bit of an adventure, even though the path became a concrete road, it is still steep, mountainous, and narrow. Anyway, the destination is worth the ride.

Ao Sane

Ao Sane

A snorkeller’s paradise in high season, Ao Sane is just next to Royal Phuket Yacht club in Nai Harn Bay. Unusually enough, road access to Ao Sane is only possible by driving under the hotel then up the side of the hill.

Laem Ka

Laem Ka

Laem Ka is more a locals' beach than a 'secret' beach. At weekends it is packed with entire Thai families and groups of friends who come to picnic, or just to relax time while enjoying a beer. A few vendors pass by with snacks and fruits, while kids run and laugh on the beach.

Laem Ka Noi

Laem Ka Noi

The beach part of Laem Ka Noi is minuscule, so tiny that one hesitates to call it a beach. The focus of Laem Ka Noi is its restaurant which attracts many Thai people on weekends with good seafood and local delicacies at fair rates.
